In response...

Wow, I sure did get a lot of comments=) And here I will respond...

My intention in the last post was to offer hope to those who may be unsure about the future. The Bible says that we can find our Hope in Jesus, and that we can trust Him with our tomorrows. I can only speak of the religion in which I know, and that is through Jesus. There are a lot of other religions our there, and people have been doing their own thing since the very beginning (God gifted us with free will, after all). That can't be denied. But, if you look at all of the different countries, the one that is deemed as the leader of them all, and the most successful, and the one that everyone else comes to, is the one that was founded on Christian principles. There is no state mandated religion, for sure, but each and every dollar that is printed in the United States says, "In God We Trust." Our forefathers began this country trusting in God, and the further we get from Him, the worse off society is. Just look around to see the proof. If you want peace, if you want love, if you want assurance of eternity in Heaven, Jesus offers it. He paid the ultimate sacrifice, but it is free for the taking for you and me.

May you be blessed this Election Day, and every day after.

Megan, both this post and the last one were great. I just pray that the Christians in this great country of ours go out and vote today and that the best people win whatever office they were running for. Keep up the good work, God Bless, Jeanne
