This is one thing that I love about Fall. Randomly placed little gifts, like this vibrant leaf in the middle of the mulch at the playground, or a leaf laying on the ground with a small puddle of water in it. During this season my eyes are constantly roaming the land for beautiful leaves, both on the trees and off. My favorite colors are the oranges and reds. Which colors of Fall do you like the best?

Megan, I love fall also, I think all the colors are great but as I look out the window by my pc there is a bright orange tree down at the dam that's just beautiful. I look forward to all of your 30 days of fall. Nan
Nan, I just go gaa-gaa over bright orange trees. Oh, I just love them. Usually by the middle of Fall I even have Scott looking out at the trees as we drive down the road. It's addicting!
Ooo, I love oranges, but my absolute favorite are Sweet Gum trees. On one tree there can be everything from yellow to orange to purple to red... And sometimes all on one leaf! I imagine when God made them he was like me when I paint - brush loaded with every color that he loved at once, smearing them all over, all mixed together.
Yeah, that's like the finale of fireworks. You get all of the good stuff all in one place.
