~17~

It frosted for the, I think, 2nd time last night. I caught these frosted flowers just before the sun got to them (it was coming in behind me). It's always funny to me to look outside as the sun comes up and see the yard in part shade and part sun, the shaded parts still frosted and the sunny parts melted. It has been typical Fall weather here, frosted at night and in the low-to-mid 60s during the day.
It has been said that you know you live in the Mid-Ohio Valley when you have to turn on your heater and air conditioner in the same day. For us, that applies mostly to when we're in the car. Is it like that where you live (if you live outside of the Mid-Ohio Valley)?

In NW Indiana it can be like that, too! But I am sure colder days are ahead... I want to hang on to fall as long as I can!

I'm with you on that, Steph. I love that it is warm enough to still go out and play in the afternoon, but cool enough that you are bound to smell firesmoke from someone's chimney in the evening. I would be happy with this weather all year long!
