~15~

Speaking of red and orange. Almost as bright as the leaves outside, check out this boy! Look at that orange hair! All offset by those blue eyes.
My good friend Leslie and I went walking the other morning with our crew (5 all together between the two of us). Walking down the bike trail in town with the leaves crunching under our feet, were were reminded of last year, where we were doing the very same thing, both of our bellies great with baby, and less two babies in our slings. To us, Fall meant nesting, and now means wandering babies.
Does Fall bring any specific memories for you?

Oh my gosh, his hair looks so red in that photo!
Fall was always the best time to make memories with the kids! we used to go to Doaks in Newport every year and walk in the corn maze and pick out our pumpkins. Maybe a hay ride. Apple picking near Columbus and raking (and of course) then jumping in the leaves!! Dressing up and trick or treating. Makes me sad that they are too old for most of that now!

I am looking forward to a trip to Sweetapple Farm here in a few days with the kids. We went last year, but I think Libby will enjoy it better ths year. Scott intentionally picked a house to move into that didn't have a bunch of trees. He hates raking leaves. We'll have to just go down and "borrow" some leaves from on the corner. She has more than enough.
